OJ Bio will be attending the 10th Annual Convergence Summit being hosted by the Wireless Life Sciences Alliance (WLSA) in San Diego, CA.
At the event the company will be demonstrating its innovative biosensor technology that successfully translates antibody-antigen binding events into an electronic signal, combining real time disease diagnosis and monitoring solutions with inbuilt wireless connectivity.
The innovative point of care diagnosis device developed by the company uses these specially developed biochips with a dedicated reader and supporting software that can be carried on a smartphone app or a PC.
When biological samples, from serum, saliva or blood, are applied to the biochip (held in a disposable cartridge), the presence of a disease antigen is translated into an electronic signal which is then converted to display the result of the test on the supporting software.
The OJ Bio biosensor platform is particularly suitable for large scale manufacturing and has many applications in mobile medical diagnostics, remote monitoring and point of care diagnostic use.
The WLSA Convergence Summit is the premier networking event for connected health entrepreneurs and health thought leaders aiming to form strong business relationships and partnerships in the industry.
The event is being held in the Omni Hotel, San Diego, CA from May 26 – 28.
