WLSA Announces new VP, Partner Development

The Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance (WLSA) has announced that Paul Sonnier has been appointed as Vice President, Partner Development. In this new role, Mr. Sonnier will be focused on providing accretive value to current WLSA partners, and inducting new partners.

The Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance (WLSA) is a global trade organization that brings CEOs from the world’s most innovative wireless health companies together with business leaders and researchers in healthcare and technology, to accelerate business opportunities and improve healthcare. The WLSA is the only trade organization focused exclusively on accelerating collaboration within the wireless health sector.

Rob McCray, President and Chief Executive Officer at WLSA, said, “We are pleased to have Paul join us.  He will improve our capacity to meet the needs of the sector and our membership in the fast growing global wireless health ecosystem.”  He added that “Mr. Sonnier’s ongoing work in connecting professionals around the world will be very beneficial to WLSA.”

WLSA was formed in 2005 and offers two major conferences in San Diego: the WLSA Convergence Summit in May, for exploration of the business and use case of wireless health, and the Wireless Health series in October, a single track scientific conference focused on the engineering, clinical and research aspects of wireless health. McCray describes the conferences as “best of breed confluences of the entire range of researchers, clinicians, investors, entrepreneurs and senior operating executives who are creating the wireless health sector.”
