About the Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance Convergence Summit

Business, Medical and Scientific Leaders Explore the Convergence of Wireless Technologies, Life Sciences and Consumers

May 13-14, 2009 • Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa

This is an invitation-only event. Registration for Day 1 (May 13) of the Summit is now closed, but there are still seats available on Day 2 (May 14). Cost and registration information are available at the end of the Day 2 schedule.

Recognizing the gap between wireless information technologies that are commonly used in other industries and the systems used by healthcare facilities across the country and by the pharmaceutical sector, the Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance is conducting its annual Wireless-Life Sciences Convergence Summit.

Join senior executives at this two-day, action-packed educational summit for an intensely ongoing and expanding dialogue about the convergence of wireless technologies, the life sciences, and consumers.  Attendees will include: business, medical and scientific companies, academia, entrepreneurs, and capital sources.

New this year….Day Two of the Convergence Summit will be open to the wider wireless life sciences community. Titled “Commercializing Wireless Life Sciences Technology,” this day is designed for individuals with technology that could be adapted for life sciences or who are already entering the segment. You will learn about the customers; how insurers think; how clinical efficacy is best established; managing the FDA, and how to access non-traditional capital sources.

There is a separate registration and cost for attending Thursday, May 14.
