2008 Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance Investor's Meeting

On Tuesday, May 13, 2008, the WLSA will present an Investor's Meeting to facilitate discussion and information exchange between capital sources and successful companies achieving traction and developing key emerging technologies in this rapidly advancing sector.

This is a one-day invitation-only meeting comprised of short presentations, panel discussions, and dialogue, which is designed to provide capital investors with insights into the most promising opportunities in the convergence of wireless technology, healthcare, clinical trials, medical devices, and diagnostics in order to reduce costs and improve healthcare outcomes for consumers.

QUALCOMM Ventures and Len Lauer, Executive Vice President and Group President of QUALCOMM will present an ‘insider’s look’ at QUALCOMM investing and acquisition activity.  Drawing on his experience as Chief Operating Officer of Sprint, Len will also offer insights into the mobile market. The conference will include presentations by some of the lead innovators in the field, and discussion among investors will ensure that the meeting is a valuable experience.
