Pager Plans to Use $10.4M to Expand its House Call App to More States

Started in New York, Pager is deemed as the “uber for doctors.” Pager provides an app that allows for in-person physician house calls. Doctors do an initial consult over the phone to determine what types of tools for full diagnosis and treatment will be needed, then show up at the patients home. The service is currently at a flat rate no matter what treatment is necessary and users can be reimbursed for Pager as an out-of-network provider. People still want face to face interaction with a doctor. Pager provides the advancement and efficiency that technology provides without losing personal contact between patient and physician.
