Community Based Technology Healthcare Company Weighs in with Donation to Local Food Banks and Shelters
Schaumburg, IL & Cambridge, Ontario (December 19, 2014) –CellTrakCARES an outreach group from CellTrak Technologies, Inc. is helping 100 families this holiday season. Each year CellTrakCARES works with local charities to physically work with or set a collaborative goal for donations. As our staff has grown, the program has been able to expand to take on more charitable organizations this holiday season. This year JOURNEYS, Schaumburg Township Food pantry and Cambridge Self-help food bank were chosen to organizations to give to based on wish list items to a homeless shelters and local food banks. Collectively the goal was to feed and help clothe over 100 families this holiday season. CellTrakCARES exceeded their goal thanks to a great team.
As of today, their donations will feed over 100 people from the donations of Schaumburg office staff and the Canadian subsidiary in Cambridge, Ontario. Hundreds of pounds of food, beverages, paper products, clothing and bath personal items have been gathered and donated by the team to feed and clothe local families. The donation will feed and help people who are elderly, disabled or unemployed. As in past years, the team took personal time to shop, package and deliver the food to their respective local food pantries and shelters. The items needed were simple and necessary items to survive the winter. Being based in the colder region women, children and men were in need of items such as food, gloves and scarfs just to stay warm. Other programs were in need of shave kits and clothing to give everyone a second chance at job interviews. Giving back to your local community with these items gives an opportunity to give hope back to people trying to find jobs and simply staying warm throughout winter.
“Giving back locally is important to CellTrakCARES. We are local in the community and look to help take our energy and use it to help those that may be in a less fortunate situation this time of year. Our staff is passionate about giving as much as they can to people in need this holiday season,” shared, Michael Wons, CEO and President of CellTrak Technologies.
