With the Boomer generation entering retirement, there is a growing community of people who are taking on role of caregiver. Keeping track of someone else’s wellbeing can be a daunting task, but connected health technology is here to help. New apps and programs are assisting with medication adherence, emergency monitoring, and physician communication. WLSA member MediSafe is mentioned in a Huffington Post article as a free caregiver app. It sends reminders to patients to take their medication on time and helps caregivers by sending alerts when medications are not taken.

Are you a caregiver? If so, read the article and tell us what devices and apps would help you manage someone else’s health.
