Wireless Life Sciences Alliance Convergence Summit: Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs will speak at a conference bringing together wireless technology and health care leaders.

Some of the top leaders in health care and wireless technology, including Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs, will gather in San Diego this week to discuss how communications technology can help overcome the major barriers to delivering cost-effective healthcare around the world.
Organized by the Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance, the convergence summit will be held Tuesday through Thursday at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Technology companies, medical device manufacturers, healthcare providers, investors and policy makers will discuss ways to advance wireless and mobile solutions in healthcare. Founding members of the trade group include Qualcomm and Johnson & Johnson.
Other keynote speakers will be Dan Buettner, bestselling author on health and happiness, “Blue Zones & Thrive,” and Harry Greenspun, Chief Medical Officer at Dell Computer.
