More people have access to mobile phones today than to clean water. Despite the proliferation of mobile technology it is estimated that by 2012, 1.7 billion people will lack access to banking, and more than 1 billion of those same people will also lack access to adequate healthcare. “Amplifying the Impact” looks at the potential interconnectivity of mobile health and mobile financial services, examining collaborative models that may help drive successful implementation and adoption in currently underserved regions.
