FCC/FDA Joint Meeting on Life Saving Wireless Medical Technology

Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance President & CEO Rob McCray attended the FCC/FDA Joint Meeting on Life Saving Wireless Medical Technology in Washington, D.C. on July 26th. The WLSA applauds the efforts of the FDA and FCC to work together to develop a framework for their future efforts. The WLSA filed comments on the meeting, emphasizing that “in wireless health we have the potential to address three of the most important issues in healthcare: Its high cost, variability in quality, and inadequate access,” and laying out four principals for the agencies to consider as they continue to the framework for their future collaboration.
